thanks Mike, these oxpeckers are both good and bad for the animals. They actually get rid of the lice, insects etc from the animals, and act as lookout and early warning system. On the other hand, they actually draw blood from these animals from constant pecking.

Can only manage to shoot with my old Canon PowerShot G11 at the moment because of my broken wrist. It's a grand little camera, though, and it never ceases to surprise me.

I never realized there was a bad side to the oxpeckers...never knew they drew blood from their host.
