Now that's very nice action shot
Love the Pelican. Lots thrashing about below, water flying.

Good job for Cormorants it doesn't have one of those body piercing beaks.
Why doesn't the silly cormorant just up and away.
It's same weight it'd be once it's swallowed the fish, so assume it can still fly.

At a distance, starlings look black. In summer they are purplish-green iridescent with yellow beaks; in fresh winter plumage they are brown, covered in brilliant white spots. This one is starting to show his Summer colours early.

That pelican is a monster compared to the size of the cormorant. Great action shot, Shalu.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful comments, Richard! Cormorants can't fly once they eat a big fish. They usually hang out in a goup in the middle of the lake or on the bank for hours digesting food.

Nice shots, Ken. The second one makes me laugh. Good work.

Thanks Mike. They can be quite entertaining.

When that yellow beak snaps shut, it's gotta hurt. I love these action shots. They're really outstanding, Shalu.
