The terrain looks pretty much like in Nevada except that grass in the first one.

My office today. Downloading the images after our shoot and coffee, also someone is bringing me monkfish with apple and herring sauce. Nice.

Man, I haven't done that for years now. Pretty cool. Life here in US gets too stressed. At least I made some nice dinner (pan fried catfish with polenta and succotash). Kids don't like polenta but wife and me loved it. Went well with some German rose sparkling wine. CA wines too much alcohol for every day drinking IMHO.

did my best to use the 18-55 kit lens as much as possible.. I have mixed feelings about it..

the best combo (from the gear I have) would have been the x100f around my neck , and the xt3/50f2 ready in my bag .. would have covered me for most of the time..

It is a nice lens but then nothing compared to Fuji primes. Or maybe I don't know how to use it properly.

IDK, I wouldn't say it's "nothing" compared to the primes. I prefer shooting primes mainly for the experience of how it effects my workflow, but the 18-55mm has always lived up to or exceeded my expectations when I use it.

I've heard that there is a difference between the older "Made in Japan" versions and the newer versions that are made somewhere else (Korea I think?). I don't know if there's any truth to that, but mine is a "Made in Japan" version.

Me either, we all had fun, my Dad is in his mid 70's and no signs of slowing down at all

Nice office. Looks my work place. We do have a big office in Dublin (Ireland).

We are a good location for EU trade here thanks in part to our 'incentive' based corporate tax rates. I was shooting for Log Me In, their new HQ looks amazing.
