Kyoto might be good to add. ;-)a

Going in January, so expecting it will be cold. I'll probably lug a 16-35 and 24-70 and smartphone.

Add yakitori to that list! Heh. :-D

How did it go?!!! Ill see if we can fit Yakitori to it!

It was COLD! Heh.

Went to aquariums (whale sharks and other sea creatures), DisneyLAND (there's a DisneySEA that I didn't know of), Shibuya Crossing, lots of temples, deer park, monkeys. Food was good. Ichiran ramen, sushi, sake, yakitori, even 7-11 offerings were good. Lots of walking and confusing subway, busses, trains. A seasoned New Yorker shouldn't have problems, though. :p

you saw monkey!?? :P

yeah right? for us californians we have no idea how public transportation works lol but it was simple to follow after a few days. I just looked up the lines and wow! it's got alot more and changes. when I went there was only JR and Eidan (?? looks like its called something else now) line. JR which goes around tokyo (for tokyo) while Eidan has the inner stops to get closer to your destination.

So lately I’ve been into detailing my own car. It first came about when the local car wash I go to did not offer dressing the car interior anymore for the $30 package. You would have to pay more. I started to look into car wash and to attempt to do it at home again. I gave up that idea in the past because I would spend time and effort into washing it and at the end of the wash it’s still not cleaned. Plagued with water spots which I found out now that I need to wash when it is not sunny out and need to dry it better and faster. I ended up getting more products and equipment’s and attempted to paint correct my car and do a ceramic coating. Which is a temporary clear coat like protection for the car that will last 1-2 years. I thought I’d try to enjoy my car for a few more years to hold out on the hype and temptation of wanting a new car. I am eyeing the audi a6 2019 :D

also trying to lose some weight. brothers wedding is coming up in sept and I want to look nice for it and in general. i have to admit that I'm doing a poor job lol zzzz

in NY I used to wash my cars, even wax them under the many trees near my separate garage, yes make sure you dry the car under the shades or even use rinse flo chemicals ...I buy expensive waxes, interior lethaer finishes and rugs, relying most on chamois...here in Las Vegas for water conservation washing cars at home is not alloed there are wash for a fee places...I opt to use hand washing shops.

The only reason to buy a new car is to take advantage of AI options, that is braking to stop before hitting another car, alerts for cars on sides and alerting you if your eyes are wandering, there are also new rear passengers airbags on seat belt straps...

Famous tied Monkey with the matrimonial strings...hope I can meet up with them on my next visit home.

I am doing regular exercises now that I am 75, I have a stationary bicycle, rowing machine- feeling like Frank Underwood :-) and dumbbells, no treadmills, because I prefer walking around to shop at malls and premium outlets with my wife or photo walk in the desert.

I just completed my every six months doctors run, primary care with blood works then with the cardio that included lexiscan, that is stress test with radioactive dye and tomogram of the heart to see any blockage, as well as echo to see how how the heart and valves are working. Even went to UCLA center for early alhzeimer tets, came with flying colors no need to see them again unless there are major changes.

Share pictures of the forthcoing wedding.

man those waxes sure are expensive! I never tried actual wax paste and have been doing it the easy way with spray and buff off sealants. do you have any preference for leather interior? I'm thinking about trying swissvax. how do you like the wash shop you go to? I used to get a wash once a month or two. get the bit more expensive wash to clean and dress the interior twice a year. the place I go to did a decent job. One other I tried I did not like. it was closer to home, but also costed a bit more.

yes the safety technology and features today are really nice. Rented a car that had the basic and even with the basic it was nice. I liked the beeping when there are passing cars on the side lanes when trying to merge.

good job on the health Tony! :D good call on the walking lol. I am not a fan of treadmills myself but I do like the elliptical. that was my main cardio and it gave me the opportunity to shed a lot of lbs. It got boring and I enjoyed going to the beach to do cardio. Progression was better but the impact on my knees down was something to consider. I did well when I was at a lighter weight. Last winter I attempted my routine again but failed. I started to have knee pain and felt that I shouldnt run anymore so I stopped. was a big disappointment. But after reading your write up I think I will start slow, do 2 miles instead of 4. Walk if I have to, better than doing nothing. I'll do this tomorrow morning and make it a routine for my weekend. I've been enjoying my weekend morning by going to have breakfast and a latte. Sounds good but being healthy and losing weight will be much better lol. fight!
