I shoot a lot of High School and College sports and need to crop. Having a few extra MP would help. I am not saying 30+ because it would be difficult to keep the noise under control at very high ISOs. A bump to 24 would be great.

On my 1DS I can use the flash as a true fill, meaning when I turn it on it doesn't affect the shutter speed or the aperture value, I dial in the flash compensation I am looking for and have the flash set on high speed sync and I am good to go. But, when I do this on the 1DX the shutter speed changes regardless of what I have the flash set for HSS or not... Is there another menu choice I am missing here? thanks E Which flash are you using and what mode do you have the camera set to?

The speed may be limited unless you over-ride it.
