There is a thread on 7D Mark II focus discussions in Canon EOS Cameras. A number of posters, including me, had soft image issues. Very informative thread but sadly, for me, an incurable condition. Incredibly frustrating. My final solution was to buy a replacement 7dii, which works very well.

Same here. My original 7DII couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. My replacement can’t miss...

I do have a 7D Mark II, and I have a 100-400 Canon lens, but my pictures sure don't come out like all of yours. No matter what I do they a blurry. Perhaps I should look into having it aligned. Beautiful pictures to all.

take a look at Reikan FoCal :)

This feels like deja vu. I posted shots of a snowmobile race about this time last year. I've taken many walks but no signs of wildlife, not even a squirrel. Oh well, winter has to end some time.

You where one of the lucky ones then, I went through 3 (I think) before getting a decent one.

Thank you, I'll check out what your suggested. But it is only with the Canon 100-400 that they get blurry. I have 4 other lens and they are all crisp. Leads me to thinking it's something in the large one.

I must be a lucky 1 2 :-)

I do have a small issue with my 7D2 however. The rear screen renders in really warm/orange tones, which made me think there was an IQ or WB problem. However, the actual images from the camera are just fine, so I don't worry about it.
