Cleaning and organizing my LR Catalog will take weeks. Meanwhile it's nice to take a break and process a picture.

Reminds me of Mountain Crossings/Walasi-Yi in Neels Gap on the Appalachian Trail. Many a backpacker has re-supplied there, even more have completely changed out their kit there to save
weight. When I went through it was bone bone cold.
If that's the place thanks for the memory :)
If not thanks for the memory jog.

A shot from Badwater Basin shot late in the afternoon. A thick layer of clouds rolled in. The color contrast of the cool tone mountains on the left and the warmer tone mountains on the right caught my eye in this scene.

Magnificent.
I've followed with interest the photos of these sort of areas on this site.
That crust is very interesting.
Does that area get inundated with water? I thought there were mud flats in some images, but this is different.
Beautiful scene.

Old fence

Robert I love old fences, as they often are an integral part of my work.
To me, this is really beautiful. Some may find such scenery boring, but not this old yolkel.
Very nice indeed. Love the moss and the dark furrowed bark.
Obviously been there a long time as the tree has pushed it out of alignment.

Has anyone used the Canon 24mm f/1.4L II on an A7X body with MC-11 or Metabones?

I'm thinking of renting one just to see how I like a 24mm prime and if the GM would really be right for me.

My MC-11 and 24Lmk2 is extremely responsive. It's substantially faster in AF vs my Sigma E mount 24mm f/1.4!!!!

I own both lenses and I'm contemplating on buying a GM 24mm sooner than later.......However if an EOS R mk2 comes out I'll be buying a full gear bag of RF glass and hope for a 24mm f/1.4 RF mount :)

My only reason why I appreciate my Sigma 24mm ART is silent AF during family video documentation. AF is sluggish in the 24mm ART. The 24Lmk2 is like much more nicer to shoot stills though.

Thanks for the reply! Interesting you got the Sigma when you already have the Canon with adapter.

I'm quite sure I would like the 24mm f/1.4 but as I haven't actually used one properly before, renting seems the best option.

We do to. But there's a distinct difference when it's Boudin's Sourdough Bread made with their mother dough they've had since they opened in 1849!
