Very nice! I've tried to shoot windmills before but got no interesting compositions.

Yeah I know another bierd, but they keep my numbers up at Flickr.
Why is it folks like a simple bierd pic but a landscape I struggle on gets few views.

I don't know the answer to that, my friend, but that is one stunning bird. Great image!

I love the fusion food available in Las Vegas. Sometimes you have to leave The Strip, and that's OK.

Lucky for me, these two semi-famous food truck vendors decided to open brick and mortar shops next door to one another.

Lunch is served!

Me too! :p

I’m off to go shooting today and am planning for this to be my first project/outing on the iPad Pro. Until PS for iPad is released, it will likely just be a limited LR CC workflow. LR CC itself is limited so far as well. But, it’s got most all the LR tools I use for developing photos except range masks.

In preparation for the new workflow I upgraded my Adobe CC plan to the 1TB cloud space, which should well suffice for editing. As that space fills that up, older projects will be moved into archive status on my Drobos. The weakest link in all this is Internet, which is currently unacceptably slow. Will be addressing this in the coming days as well.

Lots of learning to do and I won’t have a solid basis for doing a review until I’ve mastered a workflow. And even then that review will constantly need updating as Adobe progresses LR CC and PS for iPad.

Is the internet problem the speed coming into your house or the WiFi inside? If its the WiFi I highly recommend a mesh system. It made a huge difference from my 2012 era Airport routers

I haven’t finished this one completely yet but I wanted to post it here to get your feedback. Do the color balance and tones look balanced to you? Anything that I could improve? I plan to add a bit more dodging and burning on the plant. Thank you guys.

Thanks for the suggestion! :)

The bottleneck is my ISP. Even a wired connection doesn't help.

That said, my wireless router is a few years old and I am indeed planning to purchase a mesh type system.
My frontrunner, atm, is Netgear's Orbi system. Got another product recommendation? I'm looking at everything I can.

David, maybe check out Ubiquiti. I've heard good things about their range and performance.

Colors look great Alfredo! It is an intriguing image, but I'm not sure about the composition. My immediate thought when viewing it is: "is this a photo of an Agave plant or a photo of a building?" It's important to use foreground elements for compositions, but I sense that it should be clear what the photo's main subject is and I'm honestly not sure in this one. The plant dominates the space in the frame, but the building/background are warm and luminous, so my eye is drawn there (which makes the plant feel like viewing obstacle rather than a viewing experience contributor).

Color wise though, yes I really like it. :)

Totally different thought here: The plant conjures up memories of a scary plants that grab and eat people on the old Lost in Space TV series. :)

I’m using the Orbi and am very happy with it. My neighbor has a much larger house and he is an IT guy. He uses Ubiquti and it works great for him.
