So once again the Silent shutter did its job ,this deer did not see me even though it was just 50ft away, its looking at me as I had to make a sound to make it turn :) yet all the time I'm taking shots .

My 1dxmkII would have scared it off after a short burst I really hope Canon bring out a pro level camera with a silent shutter .
Rob.

I've had my EM1.2 since March and can honestly say I've not found anything it can't do well, really impressed.

I have the 12-40 , 12-100, 40-150 w/1.4 TC, 60 Macro and 25mm - the 300 would be nice but will have to wait for a used one at some point.

1.3 seconds handheld! I reckon longer would be possible but didn't have a ND filter with me and I was at f/22 which has softened it a bit. I don't normally go beyond f/8 on 4/3 cameras

Coincidentally, this is 1.3 seconds hand-held as well. It is weird being able to use F5 for DOF even when shooting a night scene!

Well, high ISO isn't very good. I had a Canon 5D IV and Sony A7iii, and they can both do several stops better. However, in general, I agree with you. With good, tiny, and (relatively) cheap glass, the images I produce aren't noticeably inferior to full frame. Love the color, contrast, saturation.

This particular M4/3 is almost the exact same size as a Sony A7 or Ar7, so not puny, although a lot of the lenses are wonderfully small. I have the older Panasonic GX7. Not pocketable, but great travel cam. I have a little fanny pack I can put the camera and 5 lenses in. I forget I have it on it's so small...

Here's a pic from a short trip I took last week.

Are you referring to noise? I find the noise from Olympus to be much more pleasing to the eye than that from my Canon gear.

Do any of you use the focus stacking feature of this camera? If so, how do you like it? Does it work well?

Also, so you find the “Pre-shot” burst useful at all? (Where the camera takes a burst of photos prior to you pressing the shutter button all the way down.)

Last question-does this camera have focus peaking & if so, can you choose the color?

Thanks!

Marci
