Keeping on the two birds theme, I got this female Marsh Harrier having a pop at a passing Grey Heron yesterday

Swallow-Tailed Kite

Spotted this Kite transporting nesting material.
Hopefully locate the nest site.

Never seen one of these before and judging from Paul's shots above, they are possibly coastal birds? I went toward the Texas coast on Wednesday and watched a pair of these swallow-tailed kites until they went out of site.

Little last minute in flight course correction......then lower the flaps to bring the air speed down..........and just step gently onto the targeted spot.

Easy peezey.....

I was absolutely astounded with how much easier it was to track airborne critters with it.
The only problem I had was when the bill of my cap would touch the top of the unit, compressing it a bit and throwing off the alignment.
Gonna have to join the youngsters and wear the hat backward. (I'll keep my pants pulled up though...I mean...I do have to draw the line somewhere.) :lol:
