Sharp as a tack, shalu...excellent shot.
I actually meant to say meet instead of meat. I saw my mistake, got a business phone call that lasted quite awhile, and totally forgot to change the word to it's proper spelling. I have made a lot of blunders here on the forums lately. My advice to you, when you get old is, "don't let the old man in." There is a new country song called "don't let the old man in." It is sung by Toby Keith and the video is done by Clint Eastwood. Check it out. I think it's really cool.

Thank you very much, Mike! Ok, I need to check it out :-D:-P

Great job of photographing the GBH, Sibil. He really stands out nicely.

Thank you, Mike. I appreciate the kind words.

a bird that hit our window this frosty morning.
I bought it inside to recoup which it quickly did, jumping on my hand and just sat there in the sun seemingly quite content.

Got me stumped, only things I can think of so far are certain honeyeaters that don't even come as far south as Victoria, let alone Tasmania!

Yes I'd seen honeyeaters that sort of fitted the looks, but not in Tasmania

OK, how about a juvenile crescent honeyeater - female ???

Looks good for one and certainly within range.
