Very nice shot, Shalu.

Thank you, Mike!

Here's a Tufted Titmouse, which we seem to have an overabundance of. Can't really say this was handheld because I was leaning against the door frame of our basement door.

Thanks, Harry

Beautiful birds, and excellent photographs, Archie. After seeing and photographing all these gorgeous birds on your trip, it must be a little disheartening to photograph birds back at home again.

Both the male and female shots are very nicely photographed, Sid. I like the buttery looking, uncluttered backgrounds.

Thanks, Mike, appreciate the comments.

We are still snow-bound, so no picture taking here for now. We have winter birds, but they are not too exciting, and I don't like going shooting with cleated snow boots on. In early or mid-May the birds and bugs come back. My attention then might be more on bugs than birds, because it is easier to find bugs and get good shots of them than birds... even though in the end, birds are more attractive subjects.

C&C always welcome.
