It's talking to you, Mike! Did you do something to annoy it?

(Nice shot!)

Thank you very much, Pagman! I am only using Lightroom for all my post processing, although Photoshop also comes as part of my subscription. I never learned how to use Photoshop and it just seems to be a lot of work to process many pictures. I routinely process hundreds (sometimes thousands) of photos in Lightroom daily. I just process 1 picture and copy the settings to all pictures taken under similar conditions (I do local adjustments very sparingly, mostly only global adjustments).

I was using Raw Therapee 5.5 as my D7200 is not recognised in LR5, but when I use the de haze tool in Raw Therapee it tends to produce a lot of addional noise - so with my last photos I resorted back to using my Nikon NX-D to do my first processing to my RAW then convert to a 16bit Tiff and open in LR5 to do the rest of the work - also if the picture needs special work for noise control I would send it into Topaz Denoise to do some work before going back into LR5.

Got this little guy just after it took off... a bit OOF, since it was coming at m e faster than the AI Servo could keep up with, but I rather like that shot anyway... :)

Shalu...this is such an extraordinarily nice shot. A lot of time and patience goes in to getting these beautiful images.

Mike that's a beauty.
Lovely bird, interesting posture.
Love the overall composition.

Really beautiful. Bird & photo
I am fascinated by these birds of prey as they ply the skies and scout the ground
This demonstrates that beautifully.

shalu wrote in post #18828862 (external link)

Shalu this series really is beautifully done, and something I've never observed.
Credit to you for such excellent photography.
