First really nice weekend of the year and the birds are out en-masse in our garden, including many Goldfinches all here for the niger seed feeder.

70D, 538mm, ISO 400, 1/400s

Lost some highlights beyond recovery on the head feathers. Damn. Can't complain about the sun though, not in this country, so I'll complain about my own exposure skills instead. And the subject sat on the ugly end of the perch. Oh well, more to come this spring I hope.

Visit last weekend to Meiringen-Switserland on behalf celebrating a 75-year (military) airport existance.

A lot of visitors but managed to squeeze in the Sigmonster :lol:

Dispite bad weather some nice shots.
