Hi All, how long typically does it take for Lightroom to offer raw support for a new camera? A few weeks? The L jpegs look great but still would prefer to process Raw.

Interestingly, both B&H and Adorama have sold out of their first shipment of RP’s. Both websites indicate that more are coming soon. (Camera-only option—they still have kits)

I guess, contrary to YouTuber belief, there are more people out there like me!!

I found an article tonight from last year, indicating, at least in Japan, that EOS R and M50 body sales had closed in tightly with the like of Sony A7iii's

My impression is that in general, the EOS R has gained more favor the past couple of months after word got out about actual use. So it would be no surprise if the RP sales are even better yet. And it's a good camera for the money anyway.

I was an early adopter, camera only. Pre-ordered from Adorama. Then I got to thinking about lenses and such, and ended up buying the 24-105 RF from B&H. It arrived a few days before the camera.

It makes a great kit, though the 35/1.8 is, by all reports, a very awesome partner for either RF body too.

This is good to see, Adobe has a beta DNG converter out supporting the RP.

I’ve never used either one, but I don’t see why not. I’ve played around with both Photoshop and DPP4. The camera just takes a series of images with the focus point gradually moved back.

I have more receipts from that place than I care to admit. ߘ
