Wonderful shot of the Caspian tern Shalu. It looks like you got really close to him.

Thank you very much, Mike! It was close, I did not even extend the zoom all the way :-D

The 15+ Yellowhammer and Cirl's put so much colour into a dull dark bush almost bringing it alive. They only moved on as they were spooked by a walker and his dog that walked right in front of me, It was as if I wasn't there. How can you not see a 6'4" geezer with a 2 foot lens ???

Love these owls, never tire of watching these.
Lovely colours and detail plus 'that stare'.

Two Pairs of wild Mandarins were posing at Yarner Wood yesterday. The male so colourful.
There was a pair of much larger Mallards that they were chasing off continuously that were encroaching on their territory.

Magnificent birds.
Beautiful photography.
Amazed that such a humble bird is so rich and varied in colours and patterns. (sorry Ducks :p)
We have a few wild ducks, but none to emulate these.

To my surprise a big flock of about 10-12 Yellowhammer with 3-4 Cirl Buntings landed in a bush not far from me for a few minutes, giving me just enough time to get closer and photograph the ones that were not obscured.

Cracking capture.

You're certainly getting a variety where you are, nice shots.

Thank you very much Bill. It's tough to get a shot like that. I sat and waited for 3 days and 3 nights, without food, drink, sleep or using the restroom.

Ok, so I stretched the truth slightly. Actually I'd been sitting there for about 30 minutes, when I saw him walking towards me along the waters edge. The bird saw the bee, grabbed it several times and kept spitting it out. He finally swallowed it, then suddenly took off and headed back to the tree where his parents and sibling were.

Thank you very much for the kudos Ken. I'm glad you enjoyed the shot, and I really appreciate the nice comment.

A truly appreciated compliment, Rob. Thank you very much.

Outstanding close-up shot of that little beauty, Rob. The detail and sharpness are amazing, and the colors are incredibly vivid.

Strikingly beautiful shot Vassilis. Very nicely composed. I sit here looking at this guy, almost expecting him to take off.

All your sparrow shots have been amazing Bill, and this one is no exception. The sharpness and detail are so nice.

Awesome Shalu...so nicely done.

Wonderful shot of the house finch, Tom. You always have such nice settings which make for very appealing images.

Hey Bob, that's a wonderful shot of the green heron. The sharpness and detail are great.

I love this shot, Wallace. You surely made an excellent capture of this blue jay.

This one is also a beauty Wallace. The color, sharpness, and, detail are awesome. Very nice work.

Strikingly gorgeous, Melissa. I love the wood ducks pose. And by the way, you sharpened him perfectly.

Man, you can sure make a mudhen shot look really nice. Nice work, fotoi.

What a neat shot of that little guy. Very nice, Richard.

Primo shot of the thrush, Shalu. It looks like he's bee eating well. His stomach reminds me of mine.

This is truly an amazing capture, filam. The sharpness and color are over the top.

Incredible shot of the owl, Peter. His stare is so penetrating. Great work.

A-1-shot of the pretty little redpoll.

Striking shot, Tom. Very nice capture of the Harris's hawk.

Thank you, Mike.
