Which lens is that? The APSC one?

Yes sir the NEX model. It will work fine on the a7000 if Sony ever releases it.
Had a waking thought on the a7000 the other day....what if it is 8K video :)

I actually recently ordered a 32mm f/1.4 for my Canon M5. I was looking at something like the A6400 but considering the cost of switching and how little I use my APSC bodies, it wasn't worth it for me.

Ok so I just went on eBay and guess what, 20% off.... Time to decide what to do haha

Try the Sony or Samyang 35 f2.8. I have had the Sony for a while and it's totally grown on me, size and IQ is spectacular. Wrist strap + lowepro dashpoint 30 on your belt = photography freedom.

With a combo that small and powerful, no real need for APS-C. It's still bigger than my EOS-M + 22, however I just find the IQ so much more pleasing, and the camera a million times more useful.

If you want the 50mm FOV, the FE 50 F1.8 is a nice option, small and light as well, shame that it's a tad bulky and won't fit in The Lowepro bag.

More Savannah...I found these two reenacting a Savannah St. Patrick's tradition...of busting your ass on the old stone stairs that lead down to River Street...but I found the scene to be amusing, and interesting light too...which was what I was out looking for.

Guys, I know I don't normally ask them, but a gear question....!!

As you might know, I bought my boy a telescope. He now understandably wants better images than holding his iPhone at the eye piece, pressing the shutter and holding his breath.....

I'm thinking Sony apsc simply because he could (when with me) borrow some of my lenses for general use if he wishes - EXCEPT the CV40 1.2E of course!

What do you think will perform okay for him with a few hundred budget for the body or body /kit lens? To add, I can also see him getting into night sky photos too. That's going to mean a fast lens or star tracker. A tracker will benefit us both.

Ta.

A home printer that can print business card paper(thicker)? Does it have to be a color laser to last longer? I'm tired of having my business card print online and wait for many days. I just like to print my own.

If I was to buy a tracker it would be this one https://www.amazon.co.uk …photography/dp/B01LYZIVQB (external link) . You could then essentially use any camera for dark sky photos as it only has to be good at low-ish iso so a cheaper/older Sony apsc might be the ticket. I’m sure I’ve seen that tracker cheaper elsewhere too

This was the review I seen of a compact tracker - I knew I'd seen it somewhere but I was in work earlier so couldn't find it easily!!

There's an A6000 locally that is £250 body only. Most of the time a dark sky image is going to be a sky/foreground blend anyway. Plus he might not need a fancy editing program for something older like the A6000 too I guess?

Have fun but watch out since deep sky astrophotography appears to be wildly addictive.
