Only discovered it when I Tapped-In a couple hours ago to make some adjustments. Version 2. If I'm very late,... disregard. I do not have the Tap-in console. Did the update help, that you can tell? I don't know if my local camera shop where I purchased the lens can do the update....

I don't know if my local camera shop where I purchased the lens can do the update.... I'm not sure,... I want to say it does, but that could be in my head. The lens has been at version 1.2 almost since I got it,... now it's at version 2. So,... here's what I'm thinking: After the update, I set things to default and removed all my previous micro-adjustments. Shots looked just as sharp, if not sharper in some cases, as they looked with my micro-adjustments under version 1.2. I remember a healthy amount of front focus at default when I first got the lens. I'm sure there are some improvements somewhere in this update,... v1.2 to v 2.0 is a pretty healthy leap forward. Just hard to tell with my eye and feel. I will say that AF seems to feel a little more athletic,... then again, maybe my brain just wants it to feel that way. LOL!

Thanks. I may have to look into it. I purchased my lens in November, so not sure what version it has.

Can’t wait to try it out! I’ve read very good results with this lens and if it is anything like the 45 and 85 Tamron (which I own) I’ll be happy. Got this new found love with Tamron glass!

I am way impressed with lens! I'm usually using my 70-200 f4 IS for outdoor shoots but this blew me away as the 45 and 85 tamron did.
