I got up early after looking out the window and saw snow on the ground outside our hotel in Santa Fe. I spent a few hours shooting around the plaza. It was quite windy which wasn't ideal for shooting so early in the morning. As a result, some of the lights and foliage moved. I couldn't decide if I prefer the color or black and white version so I'll share both.

I like them both but in this case, I think I like the B&W best. It looks colder and the contrast deeper.

Love the first one. Lighting, moment, expression are all wonderful. Which lens did you use?

Eddie, got the new gopro case and tripod/selfie stick. It looks like it'll do everything I want it to do, except for float. I'm replacing the joby floating grip, which was free from B&H, you really need a grip or something when walking with this thing. Would like the tripod feature, so it's got it, want the extension aspect for low and high perspectives, and this thing is great for that, so much range. Lastly, didnt want anything heavy, have had heavy selfie sticks in the past.... this thing is really lightweight for what it is, under 200g I think. Such a versatile setup, only a slight bit larger than my default grip.

Looks good Charlie, I’ll see if I can source one

Edit - is it this one? Or is there a GoPro specific one ?

 I think it needed more which was bad timing since it snowed a lot more the next day but this was our last day there.

Thanks Travis. The color of the sky in the color image is throwing me off. I do prefer the black and white version after looking at them with fresh eyes today.

looks like the same one, possibly different seller. here's the link on the american site: https://www.amazon.com …tle_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (external link) reviews are verified through fakespot. It's definitely made for gopro, with an adapter for phone. I like it because there's only the tilt axis for the head, no tripod head, dont actually want for this sort of thing.

I had to make a choice between the three, yunteng, shorty by gopro, and 3 way by gopro.

I wanted shorty for the size, but felt it was giving up too much being too small. Close to ground walking shots, and very high, looking down, drone like shots would need 3 way or yunteng. 3 way is too big and heavy.

there was one alternative that I thought was worthwhile to yunteng, and that was the mpow stick: https://www.amazon.com …fRID=5YDYEHXQDAYY17M8SNZ8 (external link)

it's nearly 3cm shorter, and in the bags I have, that can make all the difference. I think shorty can fit into my peak 5L bag vertically, while yunteng cant -?

that said, I may still get a shorty if I find the yunteng to be too big and cumbersome. I've also got a ScottEVest to carry this gear for travel ;-)a
