2 hours of patience rewarded. A White-bellied sea eagle gaining some height to get to wherever it goes around noon each day.

How nice. Lovely photo of a truly beautiful bird.

I was amazed a few years ago to see on in the paddock near here, about 25 km inland.
Thought there were coast dwellers.

Only due to the recent locals appearing I have a done some investigating: Sea eagle is a bit misleading. They inhabit inland and fresh water bodies too.
We have a pair and I saw them mating on Tuesday. Very happy about that.
I'm about 5 klm from the coast.
