The reason I ask is, I also went out this morning, had really clear skies and kept the sun to my back and didn't even get one keeper. Last time I did this I had at least six or eight out of twenty. All this after the update. Now I wondering if I need to micro adjust the autofocus. Thanks, Harry Thank you - Yes, handheld. When I first purchased the lens I micro adjusted it but found the focus in the real world to be hit a miss so I reset it back to default. I get much better results with no adjustments but this latest firmware has knocked it for 6 in terms of OS Image hosted by forum (967739) © Martin.D [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. I say this because a friend of mine has been having trouble with his sports lens since buying a 1d4 .. that has now gone back to sigma for repair as he dropped it . so will update on return . changed systems to MFT olympus omd1-E.M1X , Olympus 100-400 zuiko .., xiaoyi 42.5mm f1.8 . four thirds mmm-2 ,, four thirds 11-22.. and pergear 60mm f2.8 macro

harryv Senior Member More info | Mar 24, 2019 13:04 | #3563 I'm sure you know, on a 7d mark ll when you preview the shot on the LCD screen at a certain magnification level you can see where the focus point was for the shot. I know on this shot the focus point was on the male wood duck. To me, the image looks soft. Am I being too picky? Image hosted by forum (968214) © harryv [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. greenjeans Goldmember More info | I always adjust in camera because I have three bodies the lens may be used on. I have never tried focus adjustment using the dock. I did the update and don't know if it really helped, but can't tell that it hurt anything. 6D, 6DII, 70D, 80D, R10, RP, Lumix DC-FZ80 and a bag full of lenses.
