Magpie
QUOTED IMAGE

They sure are pretty birds, Lester. Our yellow-billed magpies, that I see a lot, look very much like the black-billed ones.

I am 63 (soon), have extensive heart disease and leaky valve, osteoartritis, a largely buggered spine and fibromyalgia :-)

Other than that, a prostate the size of a melon, kidneys that love to grow stones and a cyst on one kidney that thinks it's a WW2 blimp, I'm fighting fit.

Apart from the sleep apnea.

Did I mention the crook knees?

I had a fairly radical ankle fusion 8 months ago and I expected it to heal way faster than it has. Im 59 but feel 89, so I feel your pain :-)

The other night during the storm at the front of my house, sky lit up by the lightening, colours were like this but I increased the saturation and contrast a bit

Very nice killdeer shots, Dian. A few are starting their nesting activities around here, I will be getting their broken wing act as soon as they lay eggs, and I get too close to their nests.
