Love the bokeh! Nice that there is a native option now. :-) I use the EF 50/1.4 which is a bit longish.

I definitely recommend this lens, the size and weight are amazing! I loved my 22mm f/2 but I feel the IQ from this is even better!

It's definitely better than the kit lens besides range. I think it would work well since you can compose your images without being too close or too far.

That bokeh is reminiscent of the swirliness obtained with the Russian Helios lenses.

Yes I have two , not sure, without checking, which they are though. It's not easy to get the swirly bokeh though - from memory the subject needs to be some distance in front of the background.
