Man, it looks like it is in a hurry!

Nice shot capturing the moment!

Thank you Archi. He actually came from behind me (dropping in to land), and I could feel the wind from his wing beats. I don't particular like shooting going away birds, but for whatever reason I fired a shot at him, and ended up with this one. I did not crop, and as you can see, I couldn't get the entire bird in the frame.

Great shot Mike, the bird looks almost as startled as you must have felt when it appeared in your peripheral vision.:-)

Cheers

Ha,ha, yeah Dennis, it does tend to sent a jolt down your spine when you hear the sound of the wings and feel the draft they produce. But it's pretty exciting. Thank you for the nice comment.

Thank you Shalu. It was very late afternoon light. He was close, and it does kinda send a jolt down your spine when you hear the sound of the wings, and feel the draft they produce. But it's pretty exciting.

Your shot of the kite is great. I like the way he's looking back at something. It's like the driver in a car who's paying no attention to where he's going. :p:lol:

A couple of nice spoonie shots, Michael. That first one is a duck hunters dream for some. :-)
