Thank you Paul.

This is such a wonderful shot, Paul. It's so cute the way the little one is checking out the world from it's safe little hideaway.

Thanks Mike,they're awesome.
Here's one of Mom giving me the stink-eye:lol:
Happy trails.

Very impressive shot, Shalu.

Thank you so much, Pagman and Mike!

I noticed that both his feet were out of the water. That's why I figured he was doing 90 miles/hour. They are such a fast moving bird both under, and on top of the water. My ornithology instructor in college (many years ago) told our class, that if someone shoots at them with a shotgun, they can see the flash from the gun being fired, and dive before the shot hits them. I don't really know if that's true or not, but I can almost believe it.

Haha:lol::-P At the end of run, it was sliding on its belly like a baseball player sliding into the base after a run. I made a Google Photos animated GIF from the sequence (external link).

What a terrific shot, Melissa. Excellent sharpness and detail (I really like the water droplets on his head and chest).

Thanks so much, Mike. :-)

Really nice shot, Shalu. The green background looks really cool.
By the way, I could not open your link for the Google photo.

A-number-1 shot Bill. Definitely has it's bright breeding colors. I don't think much of it's choice of perches, though (one slip, and ouch  ).
