HMS St Albans (F83) HMS St Albans, the sixteenth and last of the Royal Navy's Type 23 frigates to be built, was launched on 6 May 2000. Constructed by BAE Systems at Scotstoun, she was delivered to the Royal Navy in November 2001. Seen here arriving Gibraltar 9th July 2018 accompanied by tug Rooke.

Thanks Capn Jack. One of those days when I pose as a tourist and mingle with the crowd. This is one of several shots I took to get the best framing position as the river bus manoeuvred off the pier. Camera shake is a problem on these shots. I'm quite surprised they come out so well although I use a fairly high shutter speed.

Twin Star. At Nelson Dock. Ferry operated by Hilton Double Tree Hotels at one of it's London Docklands Hotels.
The top image shows the Shard in the background. UK's tallest building (at the moment) 1,016ft (309m).
