Turns out it was not that hard to clone out the leaf after all using Canon's Digital Photo Professional program's "Stamp Tool" on the previously converted jpeg.

May I ask, is the repair detectable to your eyes?
(A bit of the mortar is now filled in, I know)

Thanks for prompting me to try this.

Using my phone to view (so take my input lightly) .. if i didn't know there was a leaf in the original my eyes would be looking there at all. .. nothing off about it. Looks good in my opinion

Funny!

I bet that more than 80% of my images have something that I wish I could have changed or done differently.
Fork & knife are crooked or they are on the wrong side, some errant hairs out of place on the primary subject, someone's foot in the frame.
Undergarments showing.

I like making mistakes in restaurants though, because it gives me an excuse to go back and try it again.

French fry in or out of the ketchup?

White balance or focus point correct?

I always seem to only notice this stuff at home!

(Both below are with the EF24-70mm f/2.8L II USM)

Photographers are violent people, first they frame you, then they shoot you and after that they hang you on the wall.

About these these photos:

Glass jellyfish made by Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka, hang from a ceiling in the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard University

Wikipedia states: "Over the course of their collected lives Leopold and Rudolf crafted as many as ten thousand glass marine invertebrate models in addition to the 4,400 botanical ones that are the more famous Glass Flowers."

From Portland, TX., we have a Cheniere Plant nearby that does alot of flaring at night. This is a prime example of such, from last night
