No, not a distraction, it’s a neat composition imo. The fact the background bird repeats the same arc as the foreground bird is the central reason I like the image. David | Flickr

Other than awful battery life, I’m really liking many things about this little camera. I’m not even a 35mm guy (always liked something little wider than 35 like 24 or 28..) but this standard (but boring) FL is slowly growing on me as well. Here are few shots from yesterday. a7RII • a7C • V12 • L21 • S24GM • S85

Does anyone else have this issue? If I shoot the same thing with my Nikon or Fujifilm, I don't have the issue. I've used various lenses, cleaned the elements, the sensor, etc etc ![]() Native FE lens or adapted lens? Adapters can produce internal reflections that look like what seems to be light leaks. Thanks and you are right! Fun but limiting for sure. Haven’t had a gaming console since 2013 when I gave away my PS3/XBox 360 after having my first daughter. Boy times have changed. Tried playing my first 2 games and didn’t realize that each game needs to install onto the hard drive. So over 120gb used, can’t imagine how people use ones with a 500gb drive, only a few games and it’s full. First thing did was instal the biggest SSD that was on sale. I switched to PS4 this gen from Xbox 360. There are a lot of great games for the system. Just a thought from Daniel

TRhoads Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 15, 2019 12:23 | #27959 I am way the heck behind here...10 something pages...and usually don't drag the old back up...but had to here... xpfloyd wrote in post #18844266 I was away for a 4 day trip last weekend with the family in the campervan. I made the video below on Lumafusion using drone and GoPro footage. Theres also still images in there taken on the a7rIII that I key framed to add some motion. Its 6 minutes long but if anyone can be bothered watching id appreciate the feedback. (Needs sound and a solid internet connection to keep the sound synced). Oh and I have spotted a glitch around the 3:20 mark so will have to re-upload later. really nice...I wish I had the know how, time and paticence for this kind of stuff...I have the Osmo...don't use it...its been sitting on my desk since I got back from Death Valley...have not even saved the DV video...we are going on a little getaway weekend just the 3 of us next month...I want to do more video...gotta make myself do it. idsurfer wrote in post #18844447 Totally awesome Eddie! I really wish I had the patience to learn how to put something like that together. same...time is just not on my side. mystik610 wrote in post #18844641 Meant to comment on this earlier, but you're absolutely right about the family valuing videos more than photos. This is the reason I picked up the osmo pocket, though TBH, I've done a terrible job of documenting things lately. I need to charge mine up...make myself get used to using it... TMaG82 wrote in post #18844653 Yup, exactly. I show the family pictures and they’re bored to watch, the second a video clip shows up and they’re super interested. oddly, my daughter loves stills...my wife has thousands of them on her phone and my daughter sits and goes through them, remembering the stories that go with them...but I bet if I had a bunch of cool videos like yours on my phone...she would wear it out watching them. Gene brought up about wanting to capture more videos. wishing he had videos of his parents to share with younger generations so they can see their personality and hear their voice. It made me put into consideration.
