Panther Creek has a special place in my heart. Before I really got into photography I had seen a picture of it and immediately fell in love with how unique and "Tolkienesque" it looked. The upper falls in my above photo was from my first trip in 2014 and the lower falls shot was from my second trip in 2015. I think in all I've been there 4 or 5 times. Unfortunately it has been loved to death and on my last visit large portions of the moss at the upper falls had been trampled into mud. It was pretty depressing. I'll probably go back again some time but likely stick to the lower falls where the vegetation isn't as sensitive to the presence of visitors.
