Near Atlantic Peak summit, CO. Approximately 180deg FOV, 11 shots @ 32mm.

I don't take panos often, but actually managed to get my tripod level (mostly by luck) and the pano came out easily.

New York, New York

This is pano of nine vertical shots from Liberty State Park (NJ). The water wasn't anything interesting so I took artistic license and mirrored the city in the river, inspired by the image in the intro of the TV series "Blue Bloods." It's not perfect, but I'm no PS guru.

Seems like I am in Pano mode. This is a 2-shot stitch using shift on the TSE-24. Actually also a good example of why I like tilt-shift lenses for landscapes.

First slight tilt allowed for better sharpness without having to focus stack as well as shoot a pano.

The second, and perhaps more critical, was that the right side of the shot is taken a full shift to the right. This allowed me to get the foreground 'straight' rather than tilted to the left which looked weird and unbalanced.

Unfortunately no clouds, I will have to go back to this spot sometime.

Added noise to the sky to reduce banding in the .jpeg.

These are slightly different to the ones I have seen here? They are of 2 murals on the opposite walls of a small room on the top floor in the Chateau du Malves en Minervoir, the village where I used to live. The story behind them is that they were painted about 200 to 250 years ago by a woman who was imprisoned there for 2 years. Nobody seems to know the reason for the imprisonment? The pictures were found when some of the plaster that was covering them came off of the wall. The top one is about 15' long by 4' high. Tghe bottom one is about 6' long by about 5' high The detail in them is incredible and because they were covered for so long the colours are still quite vivid.

The top is 7 (I think) shots wide and the bottom 4 wide and they are stitched together using PSE13 photomerge. The room is about 8 or 9 foot wide hence the numerous shots for the wider one.

I have just been looking through some photos and I now realise that I have miss remembered the size of the paintings. So, hopefully, here is a photo that shows the true size?

There were a lot of surprises in that chateau when they started checking the condition of the structure.

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!

I tried to shoot a pano with the Sony 85mm f1.8 last night. I didn't take my pano head as I wasn't planning to shoot with this lens, but gave it a go. I'm pretty happy with the result. There is a little bit of star movement that I think a faster shutter speed will fix, but I'll certainly be trying again with the pano head and different settings.

Nice image! What was your shutter speed?
