A mate of mine has his business building/converting them. Does some beautiful work!

I think for me it's unlikely because of the money and cost tied up in something vs how much use it would get. I've nowhere to keep it for starters without renting somewhere for it. Then it's two lots of tax, insurance, MOT (well, three if you include the Escort) unless I have a T4 as my everyday motor and sell the Focus.....

Wow awesome work! Even liking the T5s he has done. Gave him a follow on IG. It’s a fair point about getting the use, I’ve considered a few times getting a classic split screen as my daily driver (just because I’ve always wanted one) but I’m too addicted to the horse power of my actual daily driver :)

My usual daily driving is work (2.5m) mainly in 20 & 30mph limits.... :) Horsepower is irrelevant really...... Even parents, the kids house, shops, supermarket, the gym is all within a 2 mile radius of home.

Daniel I'm jealous. We're still in the 30s in the morning :( Maybe next month bugs and flowers.

I almost forget days in the 30’s living here. I actually miss the spring and fall variety sometimes

My lifelong ambition is to own a 911 at one point!

Me too...since I was 6 or 7 years old...my dad has a 2014 CAYMAN S, and as much as I love it...its not a 911...

David Arbogast wrote in post #18848291 (external link)
That would be amazing.

My dream goes a lot slower; it’s to own a motorhome like MedicineMan’s. Think about it all the time. :)

I would love a rig like that too...Joshua Snow has been building one and I have followed the project...

I watch a lot of fulltime RVer videos and do a lot of dreaming. We had a large popup style camper for about ten years and just loved it more than just about anything I’ve owned.

Right now I’ll go ahead and share my limitation. We moved to West Point to be with and care for my aging mom. She’s got Alzheimers and is declining to the point where I even decided to cancel our upcoming camp trip to NE Georgia mountains later this month. Our last camp trip proved a bit too challenging for her. So till that situation changes we’re going to limit camping to nearby West Point Lake (great campgrounds!).

Sorry to hear that, my grandmother passed away from Alzheimer's and my grandfather had dementia...brutal diseases for everyone involved.

That all depends on how you're shooting. For general shooting or 4K video (V60) it should be plenty fast enough. If you're shooting lots of bursts and need to clear the buffer as fast as possible, then the 2000x cards are going to be worth the extra $$. I have a few of the 2000x cards and I've tested them vs the 1000x in the A9. The buffer indeed clears just about twice as fast with the faster cards (as expected). If you shoot to both slots, then the UHS-I slot (slot 2) will limit the write speed to lower than the 1000x card is capable of anyways, so putting a 2000x card in that slot is a bit of a waste. The 1000x card is equivalent to the lower end SanDisk Extreme Pro's (95MB/s on the label) and just a bit below Sony's M series cards in write speed, so it's by no means a slow card and it's a great value mix of speed and price.

Here's a comparison on the A9 to give you an idea where it ranks in terms of performance (the only Sony model they tested with dual card slots):

I'm also a big fan of 911's, with the hated 996 being my favorite. One of my neighbors has a blue 914

Went to the huntington with the family, found out that I still have no clue how to process gopro files, looks oversharpened and muddy..... Measly video took 3 hours to edit, LMAO, time flies when you mess with video. 28mm f2 is my favorite gimbal lens

Loved it. Watched it twice. Probably will watch it again later.

Didn’t like the crazy color shift coming out from the tunnel at the beginning. Looks fixable to me. Favorite sequences are the transition under the Wisteria and the great use of slomo with the splashing. The upbeat choice of music and how you edited to it is great and really helped make the video a joy to watch.

Beautiful family.

virtually a lens swap. Same settings in camera and LR. Notice the big difference in colour and aperture blade sunflare!

I like both. Deciding which one to put on canvas.

I prefer the cooler (more accurate) color and the superior contrast of the GM here, but like the sunstar on the Canon one better. Don’t like the lens flares on either.

I’d pick the shot that was easiest to fix the flares and, if the Canon shot, adjust the color to match the GM. But that’s just what I would do...no right/wrong answer. :)

Appreciate it, pure laziness on my part for the tunnel color ;-)a
