Waterfall in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Toughest part was balancing the vibrant greens from the foliage against the waterfall.

Count me in the no olives club too. I like my veggies, but olives just overwhelm everything. Two olives on a slice of pizza and the whole damn thing tastes like olives lol.

That and fresh cucumbers. The bitterness bugs the crap out of me. I love Banh Mi (shout out to Charlie ;-)a) but that cucumber though...First step is to take it out lol.

I think its time for a new laptop. 2013 macbook pro is still going strong, but I need something that can import/batch process/export faster so I can speed my wedding work flow up. Is Apple still the way to go or are there better windows alternatives these days. I really dislike the design decisions in the new macbooks.

Butterfly keyboards make the macbooks a no-go imo. YT videos from the WSJ and Unbox Therapy:

Sorry for the late reply. I've been busy lately at work and finishing up a paid architectural project.

Yes, that's the same noise my Batis 18 makes. I haven't used it in a few months and don't trust it for paid architecture jobs. Need to send it in to Zeiss for repair. I wonder if enough people have this issue will Zeiss do some sort of recall?

this just stopped me from considering the B18. i wonder if the B40 has the same issues

Inhave not had the problem on my B25. But it has not been used as much. That said...it isnt going to make me sell of the B18 when I get it back from Zeiss. It is going to make me pick up a lens that can cover for it if it fails in the field.

I would still recommend getting a Batis 18. It's an absolutely wonderful lens. Perhaps the issue was more common when the lens was released.

Same waterfall that I posted the other day but this time from the ground. I captured some nice reflected light on the wall that forms the arch framing the waterfall.

I couldn’t eat an olive even if you paid me a large sum of cash :)

Funny thing about olives, I hear this a lot from some of my Canadian friends who didn't grow up with olives as part of their traditional cuisine. I have a friend of mine that will eat just about everything, road kill if it was presented to him but place a small bowl of olives in front of him and he looses it, it's become a bit of a joke when we get together.

In my family olives are a staple, we cook with olive oil, we add them to salads, most of our cuisine or serve them as appetizers or sides with dinner. I actually liked them so much that I planted a small olive grove some years back so I'll have my own production when I retire.
