I too like the glasses, and I'm quite impressed, because I can't imagine a self portrait at f/1.2 is easy.

Don't normally comment on others as it's so subjective and personal.
Agree with previous comment.
I'm not one for photographic technical correctness. This to me looks so very natural and if the lady looks like that in reality, and she herself likes it then I'd say you've captured her nature and beauty very well.
Very nice all round.

Great start. Make small changes as you go along.

Here’s an interesting read.

Fantastic shot. Lovely model, beautifully lit and a very natural looking pose. This is coming from a hobbyist who doesn't really shoot many portraits.
Now I'll pose a question to you as well as the others here with much more experience than me.
Why do I see many headshots cropped in such a way as some of the model's head is cut off? My technique is pretty basic so I never even think of doing that. I figure to get the whole head in the shot.
I may be answering my own question here, but in your shot, the cropping definitely draws my attention to her face immediately, mainly the triangle including her eyes (great eyes!), nose and mouth. In other shots, sometimes it looks a bit odd to have the top of the model's head cut out of the shot. Many times the intent is lost on me unlike in your shot above.
Anyhow, just trying to learn something here. This forum is great.
