Large dots, sort of, on a pillow at the salon; this was hair day.

Prepare for incoming redness!

When I saw OhLook's moth I thought it would be hard to match. Then Rhody posted a shot of the kind that I just love so I thought "right, that settles it". So I didn't think I would play this week as I had no idea what to do. Then I remembered a really cool shot that I'd seen ages ago on flickr and decided to shoot that. However, I needed a very specific surface and I couldn't find it. Online, yes, but there wasn't enough time left. So tonight I decided to go back to some old tricks instead. Boring, but they're dots and diagonals of a kind...

By the way, Terry, it took me a moment to realise your object is made up of burnt matches! Did you make the shape especially for the picture?

Hi Levina. In its entirety, this is a cross we made about 40 years ago which still hangs in our hallway.ߘ

I had to remove my earlier post to this thread because I hadn't fully read the rules. This one meets the requirements, and includes an interesting message. If you don't see it right away, blur your eyes a little...

Thanks, Jo!
The first shot is actually the reflection on the glass, which is why the dots are on top of the fork. I thought it was rather cool. :-P

I was on the NC State campus this weekend and found some diagonals.

Again a moth served as a content provider, this time for dots. Eggs found on outside wall of house:

Close up, they're not just dots.

The mother moth chose the location poorly. There's nothing there for larvae to eat, just paint. The same thing happened in an earlier year, on the same part of the house. Those eggs hatched and the larvae dispersed. I don't know where they went. Vegetation is several feet away, a long trip for a tiny caterpillar.
