From Portland, TX., we have a Cheniere Plant nearby that does alot of flaring at night. This is a prime example of such, from last night.

Well, there was some processing applied, but with no plug-ins, actually, mostly in raw converter (contrast boost). And with some grain overlayed in photoshop. I think most effective way here is to shoot straight as bw (with monochrome color style on), not in color. Thus, you get a clue about will a picture look good as bw or not, while color image is quite deceptive.

Nice dragonflies. Haven't seen any in the UK this year yet, Weja. These water lilies will soon be in flower, though.
