Solar ISS Transit

Scope AT8RC 1625mm
Thousand Oaks White Light Solar Filter
Canon 6d 1920x1080 30fps
shutter 640 ISO 320

Only had to drive about 25 minutes from home, and the clouds held off. Unfortunately I had no sunspots to focus on, so it's not perfect. I'll give it another try when the opportunity comes around again. It gives me that itch again to get a solar scope :) Pretty amazing how accurate the transit site data is. That's great and the website is really useful. The last time I captured the ISS flying over was by accident, leaving a huge bright trail on a long exposure early morning shot.

I would say that was a pretty cool surprise. I'm planning on trying to get both a Lunar with the ISS in shadow and ISS is sunlight. It may a while. I'll have to figure out the right camera settings. I think the ISS in sunlight will take tricky settings. Takes several things to go right.
