Had a go at photographing swifts this evening - I managed two I cranked the s speed up and fired away only single frame advance, they are heavy crops from 6000pixals down to 1700pixals so please excuse the IQ.

You done well to get them pagman, there speedy little buggers! :) But those little buggers are house martins not swifts, swifts are all dark brown and swallows have a red chin. I haven't seen any house martins here yet this year but the swallows and swifts have arrived :)

I thought they were swifts due to the shorter yet pointed tails, thought martins had a more squared tail.
Just answewd my own quiry - looked at google and saw how they make thier tails look like that.

Excellent shots, Sean. Some folks don't think that the 80D does that well with BIF shots. Obviously it does.
