Heron ingesting a Turtle
Hi Shutterbugs,
Spotted this Heron ingesting a Turtle.
It managed to swallow the catch.
Glad I didn't have to administer the Heimlich maneuver.
Happy trails.

Thank you Shalu. We certainly have more quail around than in past years.

I like this one, Shalu. Stretching shots are cool because they give the viewer a different perspective from the norm.

Thank you, Mike!

Forster's tern. Male feeding female?

Still raining so I shot these two through the window, had to take a few raindrops out in lightroom plus work some of the noise out. Looks like I really need to get a tripod and gimbal head. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Harry

Harry, great background in both. Considering shooting through a window, detail is good, poses are nice. I do not know how much you do in post production but IMO you need a little more midrange level to the darker side on the hummers.
