Browsing B&H Photo today and saw that the 7DII is discontinued. 7DIII on the way.

Gripped 6D, gripped 6D2, gripped 70D, 80D and a bag full of lenses.

Hate to burst your bubble but Canon sells the 7DII with the Wi-fi adapter card as the standard kit. You can't get just and 7DII new anymore but they haven't discontinued it.

Doesn't burst my bubble as I don't have one or intend to buy one. Looked up body only and said it was discontinued. Just passing along what I read. Was just trying to find some info.

I don't have the card, and after watching this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQFDxOvoKlY (external link)

I won't be getting one. I'd rather have the two storage cards.

One of these days I will be ready when an opportunity presents itself but today wasn't that day. These were shot with the lens out the car window. Camera was set to spot focus and 1/1000 sec which turned out to be less than ideal but I did get a picture. From start to finish it lasted 70 seconds.

Not razor sharp but I see it as a fine start. The first is a large crop. The second not so much due to the wings.

And now the rest of the shots. He was nice enough to swing around for another pass but his speed also increased and my hit rate dropped like a stone.

He did land again on the opposite side of the road but I wasn't fast enough. Got out of the car and went for the mono-pod but when I stood up he was gone.
