Few days ago weather was favoring to try out recently acquired RC 8" telescope + 2X Tele Vue Barlow + 610nm longpass filter + ASI 290MC camera. 2 minutes video stacked with AutoStekkert. The camera was not oriented vertically (forgot to set it correctly) so, final pics are not oriented as we actually see the Moon.

Very nice!

Thank you. The hardiest part of the process is to catch the weather. In my area quite strong wind and atmospheric turbulence very high. To get an object in the scope it is like catching a fly in air.

But still quite good. Nice color, in focus, sharp detail. I see nothing to be unhappy about with this image.

Thank you CJ, always hard with rough seeing conditions low to the ground and during the day with all the air polution and heat haze, so I guess not bad considering.

All the different colors in this photo are what makes it so interesting to me.
