Really good set of photos here, David. Looks like you had a nice day out shooting at the beach/shore. I especially like the Oyster Catcher.

Thanks! The MFD of the 100-400 II makes it perfect for shooting dragonflies and damselflies and is one of the reasons I bought this lens. :-)

I just got one of these the other day and yesterday was the first good day to try it out. I think I might need to Micro Adjust the autofocus. There were several shots that by all rights should have been really good. I filled the frame, IS was working great and had what I thought was good light, 9 AM. I shot wide open auto ISO and 1250 shutter speed and handheld. Maybe my expectations are too high. I did, however, get some keepers though. Having said all that does anyone know where I can find better info on adjusting this lens than what's on youtube?
