Spring fling :-)

Beautifully captured.
Very nice.

Has a rather human ring to it.
Must be a not uncommon behaviour (both) in the animal kingdom :p

Great shot, Mike! A very proud wood duck.

Very cool looking shot, Shalu. The appearance of the water, makes it look like this grebe is ridding out a rough storm. I really like it.

Thank you very much, Mike!

500th Post

Hi All…

I’d like to take a moment to thank everyone for their comments and kind words about my bird photographs on the occasion of my 500th post (436 to this thread). In particular, I’d like to thank Richard Evers (evelakes) for starting this wonderful thread. Although I’ve been a member of POTN since 2009, I didn’t start seriously posting until late July of last year when I found this thread, and also found a home.

It amazes me to see the number of incredibly talented bird photographers here and how actively you share your work. My 500 posts seem trivial compared to the thousands posted by many others. I’m looking forward to sharing my next 500 and even more in the months ahead.

Tom
