Finally some Girls LAX love on here and a bonus it is NJ HS teams I know. They play hard with no pads and usually no helmets. I certainly hope there was a whistle and a yellow card for that one hit.

I should get brave an post some of mine on here as well.

Just a whistle on the hit. The young lady in that photo being hit was the only one wearing a helmet on the field. This is only the second women's lacrosse game i have shot in 20 years. I enjoyed it.

I have only seen 2 girls with helmets so far and both this season. One was that little one who got smashed in your shot. That was a bit too much to knock the stick out of her hands. For the girls, no pads no hitting. I prefer when the ref's let them play. I don't enjoy a whistle every play for seemingly no reason, but without helmets and pads, they do need to be protected.
