How do we reduce the brightness by channel wise in DPP.

There is a tab to adjust image colors (it actually says that when you hold the mouse over it), each color will have hue, saturation, luminance. Try the luminance slider. Must be a raw file.

This week I took a trip to the forest to get some of the spring flowers - found this Wood Anemone, a tiny white flower about 1cm across. Shot it with a 100mm Canon Macro on my 6D mk2.
It was dark and raining, and I was under tree cover with not much light, so use of a tripod was a must. However, even then I had to bump up to ISO 2000 so I could get a faster shutter speed of 1/30, as raindrops would hit the flower and shake it making longer exposure impossible.

For some time now I've been shooting my 5DIV alongside an aging 5DII. Just recently I swapped the 5DII for a 6DII and tradition demands that I mark the change with a Beagle shot on POTN, so here it is. I was concerned about the control differences between the 6DII and 5DIV but honestly in use it just doesn't seem to be a problem; the only thing I'm not keen on is the squishy directional pad but I'm getting used to it.

I just picked one up, I'm a 7d mk ii shooter but wanted something that hopefully will be better in low light. (burlesque club) and funds ruled out the 5d mkiv. not keen on the 1 card slot, the lack of a strobe pc port really threw me and was shocked by the lack of af controls vs the 7d mk ii. I got about a week time frame left if I want to send it back to bhphoto.

am I just being too hard on the camera.

One of the features I’m really enjoying of my new 6dii is being able to directly upload photos from the camera to my cell phone wirelessly through WiFi.

Same here. I didn't know how much I needed that feature until I had it. It's so great to be able to shoot friends and family a shot straight OOC. Granted, my edits always look better, but they don't care, they just want the photo.

Rocking the 6d2 and SL2 and (mostly) the 24-105 f4 L, 50mm f1.8 STM, and 135mm f2 L along with a few others.
