Black-billed Magpie. Spent some time with this guy. His right wing appears damaged although no problems flying short distances. He was happy bounding through the grass doing his own thing seemingly oblivious to what was going on around him. He tagged along while I chased a flicker which I couldn't get remotely close to.

They sure look like ravens, but can't say for sure, Shalu. I've never seen them eating a snake before, but I know that they will eat most any kind of animal they can find. Like people, they are omnivorous.
