I think this is a Griffon Vulture, flying over my house the other day.

Canon R6 II, RF 800mm.
I like what I like.

Just missed seeing this moose crossing the road. It stopped for a minute then continued it's journey. Best I could do. Only resized for posting to give an idea of the type of tree cover it was moving through. This animal didn't make a sound going through the bush. It could have been 600 or 700 pounds (wild guess). It was a lot bigger than me thats for sure. I whistled and shouted and it stopped for a minute to see what the fool on the road was doing (got me the second shot). :-)

Two photos today from Alligator Farm here in St. Augustine. You don't want to be in the water with all the gators.

Hope you have a great day.

David_MC, I love the shots of the sparrow and wren singing. They really show off the character of the birds.

Had a devil of a time with focusing today with my 7D2. Not sure why. It was pushing 90F in SoCal today and I think it might be due to the heat shimmer and refractive index fluctuations, but it was a frustrating day of birding, assuaged only by the 3 lifers I got. You win some, you lose some....

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.
