Alfredo has a very distinct look to a lot of his images...and I don't know if it is something he does...or if its the GM that renders the way it does...but the GM knocks it out on stuff like this...3 images hand blended with masking.

Thank you for the kind words Travis. Great image! That's a pretty awesome deck and view. The GM doesn't have as much microcontrast as the Loxia 21 which I think serves it well for architecture images.

Seriously. Sony is knocking it out of the park while Canon is playing catch up. Two of the most serious wildlife photogs I know have switched to Sony and their Sony pics are incredible. Wake up, Canon!

It seems odd to see so much openness there, especially seeing how swiftly the water is flowing. I would have expected to see high banks with boulders and trees and big elevation changes in that kind of water.

From Sonyalpharumors, "Sony 200-600mm FE f/5.6-6.3 will cost around $2,000". That price sounds reasonable. I can only imagine how much a Sony 600mm f4 lens would go for though

I notice the thin neoprene. Great pics and a great way to stay cool on a hot day....I'd bet that river (is it the Snake) never gets too warm ;)

Unicorn lens ;)
No interest in the 600/4. You?
Maybe on a 500 if it is light enough but even Sony can't beat physics.
200-600 might be all I can tarry. I'd love to give it a try.....

I think I'll stick with the 100-400 plus the two extenders. They are heavy enough for me.
