The light was not cooperating in this one.
Even with the shades drawn, those 12 foot windows let in a lot of light!

I was gratefully granted access to the bell tower and mechanism of the bell and clock. After a steep, dusty and very hot climb up a very home made ladder, I reached the bell.

A nice internal set, They’ve even retained the original pews. A lot of our churches have got rid of the pews for rows of uncomfortable, cheap and trendy chairs instead. This act of sacrilege has removed a lot of character and history in one single ill thought out move. Even our Henry VIII didn’t dare do that!
But I suppose it’s easier to clear a space for car boot sales.

‘Seek not to ask for whom the bell tolls’ Eidelweiss.:-)
