Courting Cedar Waxwings.

A flock of 20 or so Cedar Waxwings were feeding on apple blossom petals when these two decided to pair up. The blackflies almost drove me inside but I persevered. Only a few were displaying the red wax adornments that give the bird its name including this pair.

Thank you Ted, thank you Tom ! The tricky part was to follow this thin branch as it moved suddenly up or down, depending on the number of birds perched on it
