I finally saved up and got this lens purely for shooting soccer here in the UK.

Have got) not gotten the chance to play with it yet as it's off season at the moment. But this lens is built like a tank! My very first pro super tele lens

Congrats!.... no reason to not shoot sports with Sony anymore. What are you going to shoot it on. Honestly I still cheat... since I am not create works of great art I am shooting mine with an a6300... and have an a6400 on its way too. I've got an a7rII...... but I do other stuff with it. Have used an A9, just like to smaller package and 11 fps is good enough for me.

I'm going to shoot football ie soccer here in the UK and maybe some wildlife when I get out of the city to shoot. I have a 1.4x Tc as well.

I have one complaint about the case it comes in. Why diddnt they add wheels and an extended handle so I can roll it like a carry on?
